Skagit Valley College

The Lady Cardinals began league play with a win over the Olympic College Rangers.  Down 22-17 at the half Skagit stormed out of the locker room with a decisive third quarter outscoring the Lady Rangers 29 -15.   Adiya Jones-Smith 18 points and 12 rebounds led the second half charge with Emily Pillman 13 and Nani Garner 10 points.  An outstanding defensive performance by all the team members helped to control the outside shooting and inside post play of Olympic.   Skagit will next host Bellevue in their second league game.
