The Skagit Valley College men's and women's basketball teams are gearing up for the NWAC Basketball Championships after stellar seasons in the North Division.

Women's Team

• Finished 2nd in the North Division
• Ranked Top 10 in the NWAC Coaches Poll
• First Round Matchup: vs. #3 seed Clackamas College (South Division) – March 6 at 8 PM
• All-Conference Honors:
  • Sarah Cook – First Team All-Conference
  • Camryn Kerr – Second Team All-Conference & All-Defensive Team

 

Men's Team

• Finished 1st in the North Division
• Ranked #1 in the NWAC Coaches Poll for over six weeks
• First Round Matchup: vs. #4 seed Highline College (West Division) – March 7 at 12 PM
• All-Region Honors:
  • Sylas Williams – North Region MVP
  • Andrew Gooding – Defensive Player of the Year
  • Amare Jackson & Bennett O'Connor – First Team All-Conference
  • Max Mkpa – All-Defensive Team
  • Carl Howell – North Division Coach of the Year
