Deb Castle begins Her 3rd year as the head coach and 25th overall as a member of the Women’s Basketball program here at Skagit Valley College. She is a graduate of Huron High School, South Dakota,1978 and a Graduate of Leslie College in Cambridge, MA, 1999. As the cardinal head coach, she has been a part of the program, as and assistant with Coach Steve Epperson that has won over 900 wins with over 24 NWAC Post Season appearances. In addition to her team’s success on the field she has helped a countless number of her student-athletes move on to the Four-year Level after their time at SVC.
Coach Castle was a 3 year letter win in basketball and fastpitch softball at Huron High School in South Dakota. She was a 4 year starter at Leslie College and started in the outfield and a lead off hitter.
