Assistant Softball Coach – Skagit Valley College

Savannah Smith joins the Skagit Valley College softball staff as an assistant coach, bringing a decorated collegiate playing career and valuable coaching experience to the program.
Savannah served as a pitching instructor at D-BAT Skagit Valley from 2021 to 2024 and volunteered as a pitching coach at SVC in 2024. A proud Cardinal alum, she played at Skagit Valley College from 2019 to 2021, where she was recognized as an NWAC North Region Top Performer and ranked second in the conference with 111 strikeouts in 2021.
From 2021 to 2024, Savannah competed at Arizona Christian University, where she was a two-time GSAC Scholar Athlete and earned GSAC All-Conference honors in 2023. She was also named a CSC/COSIDA Academic All-American/All-District selection in both 2023 and 2024.
Savannah made history at ACU, setting multiple program records between 2022 and 2024, including:
  • Most innings pitched (523.0), Most wins (50), Most saves (9), Most appearances (111), Most starts (80), Most complete games (51), Most shutouts (10), Most strikeouts (485), Most strikeouts looking (129), Most batters faced (2,186), Most at-bats against (1,950), Most no-hitters (2)
She also posted an impressive 0.232 earned run average across 523.0 innings and finished 30 games during her time at ACU.
