The Cardinals had a successful season under Coach Castle's leadership, and the team's hard work and dedication paid off. The program cumulated 17 wins and a 3rd place finish in the North region advancing to the "Sweet 16" of the NWAC Championship Tournament. The 2023 NWAC Women's Basketball All-Region Awards were announced and three Cardinals made the list for the North Region Kailyn Allison, Sophomore–First Team and All-Defensive Team, Sarah Cook, Freshman–Second Team and Livia Tjoelker, Sophomore–Second Team. The All-Region Awards are a testament to the strong performance of the players, and are a great recognition of the talent and commitment the team has demonstrated throughout the season. The team looks forward to building on this success in the future and continuing to compete at the highest level.
