The 2024-2025 Skagit Valley College Men's Basketball team is on the verge of history. Sitting at 12-0 in league play (26-1 overall), the Cardinals have clinched their first unanimous North Division Championship since 2014—a milestone that marks a return to dominance for the program.

A Season for the Record Books

This season has been nothing short of remarkable. The Cardinals have held the NWAC's No. 1 ranking for six consecutive weeks, showcasing a level of consistency and excellence rarely seen in program history.

Key Highlights

🏀 Sylas Williams is on pace to join the exclusive 1,000-point, 800-rebound club in just two years at SVC. He is also a strong candidate for Region MVP.

🏀 The six returning sophomores boast a 52-7 record over the past two seasons, a testament to their leadership and dominance.

🏀 The Cardinals are poised to secure their 15th North Division title (excluding the two COVID-shortened seasons).

🏀 This marks SVC's first North Division Championship since 2014, reinforcing the resurgence of Cardinals basketball.

🏀 Head Coach Carl Howell has continued to elevate the program, instilling a championship mindset that has transformed SVC into an NWAC powerhouse.
